Bruno Mars Sparkles & Shines on 24K Magic

Ladies have been swoonin’ over Bruno Mars for some years now, and since he’s dubbed his most recent album “24K” that gives us here at GoldSilverBitcoin a reason to listen and review.

Mars’ most recent downplays the swoonin’ ballads that have made the hearts of women everywhere flutter for a funkier approach. But, in the glossy production of 21st century technology, something is lost in all that funk. With that said, Mr. Mars lookin’ back in the past for inspiration also helps him look into the future, and he puts his own spin on things. Read More

The Kanye West Tour Kicked Off Last Night & Here’s Why You Should Care

Kanye is a visionary. Kanye is a genius. Kanye is a synthesist. All these things? According to Kanye…But reality is what we make it, and so: Kanye is Kanye. But, over the years, Kanye West has produced some pretty awesome tracks over the years. And with the kickoff his Saint Pablo tour in Indiana last night, Mr. West Mr. West took things to the next level just perhaps.

West has an undeniable track record for elaborate stage props such as during his 2013 tour for the genius album Yeezus. On Kanye’s new tour, he ascends into the heavens on a floating stage.

Hints first came when concertgoers arrived to a stageless set.

Many bright lights adorned the set, which takes to the next level what Justin Timberlake, U2 and others have done before: perform on a floating stage. The main difference? West does it during the duration of his set, which the USA Today said would cause people to talk about the performer for years to come. The entire show featured no hypemen for DJ’s on the floating stage.

Kanye stopped the show when security guards tried to keep concertgoers away from the stage: “The whole concept is they’re supposed to go wherever they want.” West issued an apology to Nike CEO for talking smack on them in the past, and offered thanks to Adidas, his current shoe sponsor and partner.

All-in-all, his floating stage was something new and exciting. He attempted the song, “Blood on the Leaves” three times before choosing not to perform the Yeezus cut. What follows is the setlist provided by

USA Today:

1. Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 (performed twice in succession)
2. Pt. 2
3. Famous
4. Pop Style (verse West contributed to a Drake song)
5. That Part (verse West contributed to a Schoolboy Q song)
